Today is 19 dec and so is the day of my reporting to sec school... So this morning my dad fetched me and mum to st nicks. I was supposed to report to school by 8.30am. I was rather nervous and fidgety as I stepped into the school grounds. Mum and I were ushered into the school hall after I was told I was in Group 10 by a school prefect by the gate... There were chairs in the hall for parents and teachers. I could see that more than half of the school consisted of girls from the SNG primary level. I walked to the row of chairs where group 10 was at. There was an orchestra playing on the stage and then followed by a house dance by loads of students!! Then there was a speech and introduction of the staff by the principal, HODs etc... I was in my seat, grabbing onto the green baggie I was holding onto, wishing that a friend would come and save me from this loneliness...:( :D FINALLY!!! I noticed Jiayi from my class at the corner of my eye!!!!!!!! She was sitting at the row in front of me!!!!!!! I waved at her, and she waved back. WELL this is lame...^(oo)^ Later I was "teleported" to group 10's clasroom. I sat at the front row with a bespectacled, cheery girl:) I was feeling a little "malu" here and thought that she would not speak to me. However I soon realised that she was a really sociable girl. She surprised me by taking the initiative to ask cheerfully, "Are you from Ai Tong?" to me. Yup, I was caught by surprise and had to say, "HUH?" It took quite a while for me to register what she was saying. Soon we were chatting together like buddies! She even lent me her pen when she realised I did not bring one for me to fill up a form!!! :) WOW... Later I found out her name was Valery. Hope to end up in the same class as her!!!! In class we had to fill up a form with our particulars together with our report books. However I did not bring mine so I used my Ez-link card... Later Mum fetched me from the form. She bought my uniform plus some socks. Mum had not enough money to buy me the textbooks so we decided to buy it another day LOL... Mum wanted me to join MEP aka Music Elective Programme. All the 30 MEP students were to be in 1 class. I wasn't much obilged cos' if I take up MEP I have to give up Home Econs and D & T. I sort of like those 2 subjects. But she FORCED me to cos' it could be taken up as a subject in the O Levels... Later while we were filling in the MEP forms I met a Sec 4 girl who is from MEP and was in Ai Tong before! And her form teacher used to be Ms Tan Meng Yang!!! WOW~!! By the way my orientation camp is to be 2 Days 1 Night. HAD LUNCH AT MCDONALDS'....
