Ok... Today is Talent Discovery Day... We are supposed audition for CCAs which "lack of talents" and need new members. Compulsory for all! And today we are supposed to learn the family dance and the campfire songs for tomorrow's orientation... 1st of all my class (plus some other classes) went to the drama studio. We learned the Family Dance. It was a little complicated and LONG but it was rather FUN... YAY... At least I wasn't the only one dancing and missing some steps... HEHE... We will have to dance the family dance every Monday!!! OMG???! Next my class went to Dance Studio. For auditioning of Dance Society. We were asked to STRETCH and I am obviously a sucker at it. My 2 classmates were both saying that they were both too OLD and stiff... I agree I am too... Then we were asked to follow some dance movements. I suck at remembering instructions and I ended up making a fool of myself and laughing all the way... HM... LUCKILY I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE... HEHE... A few "talents" were picked out. Everyone were amazed by their STRETCHING abilities!!! They're like elastic bands, really. Next... to the gymnastics CCA. Well the same procedure was followed... Then 3 classes went to a ROOM (dont know which one) with this large painting at the back. We learnt some campfire songs!!! WELL I was too embarrassed to sing... But I sang softly. I shared a campfire booklet with a girl sitting beside me from my class called Ingrid because the PSL forgot to tell my class to bring it... And they had to take new copies for us and unfortunately one of them "borrowed" mine(I never got it back)... Recess... I couldn't find my friend Valery who asked me out for recess. Bianca from another class and my former classmate in pri school asked me out before and she found me! So we had recess together... Bianca and I went to the spectator's stand which all sec 1s were told to meet at. Talent Discovery sports version!! I spotted Jiayi and we chatted together.... When all the classes had gathered my class was brought to play a ball game thingy... "Talented" people's names were written down. Next we went to the Hockey audition. We were asked to run with the hockey stick. I ran the fastest among a few other girls from my class so my name was written down. Then we were asked to run with the hockey stick guiding the ball. I became LAST!!! Sad. I hit the ball too fast! People who passed in both sections(I think) got to get their names written down in the "Talent List"... Next... the HURDLES... Actually the hurdles were quite short... But it was a difficulty for all of my classmates. Including me. DUH... So you should know the outcome by now eh.... After that it was a 300m run thing... I think 300m. We were timed and I think my time is either 1.05 or 1.5. Aiya surely 1.5 lol. Dunno... Next audition thingy we were asked to jump as high as you can and touch the ball in a basketball net above. I missed although I jumped RATHER high. I am too short la... After that we were asked to throw a baseball as far as you can. I threw it and it landed between two cones on the field... Then we were asked to throw this heavier ball!!! I threw for quite a short distance unfortunately. 4 people including me who finished the throwing-of-heavy-ball(or shot put)first had to run the entire track. A relay. I ran as fast as I could overtaking the other 3 but soon my legs started to weaken down and my energy level started to deplete. Luckily the other 3 classmates were also feeling the same! YAY, HEHE... I panted up and down and slowed down. Finally I finished with 1.07 timing... 1st position.... Next was the principal's speech which everyone "dreaded". HI EVERYONE. I AM A VERY ANTI SOCIAL PERSON SO I WILL BE VERY GRATEFUL TO ANYONE WHO IS MUCH OBLIGED TO BE MY FRIEND!!!
