YESSS!!!!!!!!!!! I watched NDP yesterday. With parents and cousin YX. Took mrt from Braddell. I HAVE to tell you, it's the BEST ndp i've ever seen. You know during p5 ndp i almost fell asleep!!! The performances are really cool and more unique, reflecting singapore's true image! I liked the part about kids when they talk about "WHEN I GROW UP"! nice animations! And there was think (lol) kid who declares he wants to be president... Nice... mr S.R Nathan has a competitor!! Ok just kidding kay. And i liked the part when singapore's economy sucks and then later got this lady singing "I WILL SURVIVE". Thirdly I like the part showcasing the evoulution of pop music!! And... AIYA basically everything rocks!! Nice lightings and danicings and music btw!! Good job NDP people! There's this showcase of our military gadgets (choppers, speedboats, tanks etc) which was seriously AWESOME. I felt as if i were in a tranformers movie! :) And the setting of the floating platform is SO... OMG! Scenic... You can actually see the skyline!! The sea! And everything~~! However the airplane performance was rather brief... Just 3 planes flying across thats all :( And less fireworks. Perhaps on the actual day there will be more?? But i liked the heart-shaped pink and yellow star fireworks!!! THEY ROCK!! I was laughing quite hysterically when i witnessed the FAKE PM and presidents... lol... :D End of show, there's this confetti-blowing machine that blows all the stuff on the audience and-OMG-it was just 3 seats away from me!!! WHOO! best seat ever in my entire life. YX and i grabbed handfuls of confetti dropped on the floor after the entire concert and started flinging them in the air until some volunteers told us to kindly get out of the place beacuse they were closing it down. Lols. I pasted 3 temp tattoos. Flag on my face, "Come together" motto on left hand, Merlion one on right! the merlion thingy really cute! Btw all singporeans who use facebook please be a fan of "NDPeeps"!!!! WHOOTS! Took lots of wonderful vids and photos of course. :) Now i still have the 2 tattoos on arms. But not of face, obviously. If teachers esp Ms Quek ask me why i do this, I'd say it is a sign of national affection... hm... CONFIRM. Should i bring a tattoo for yuehui to vandalise her arm??
