YO! yesterdat IJ concert!!! SNCO performance!! Class ended for sec 1 Co people at 10am. Eat lunch and change... blablabla. Then take bus to republic poly~~ After some rehersals and loads of endless waiting in our dressing room, which happened to be a guy's changing room with a guy's toilet linked to a guy's toilet(thankfully there were no guys around so we could use it), and eating dinner at the canteen,(I met Kaiyi, Valery and Louisa there!!!They were ushers!!)it was time!! CO was the first segment. About 20mins before the show started, we were "forced" to sit with our instrus, in our performance position. ARGH. It was boring. Everyone started whispering chats amomg themselves. Then yanyi, bianca and the daji people started hugging people. LOL! :D Then, when the show finally started... ARGH!!!! There still had to be a speech given by the IJ sisters(who were French). I think it took like 10mins. Then the curtains rose but the stage was still black... Then we all heard the st nicks audience cheering for us. I heard Beverly cheer "RACHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And Yifan was like "Go TINGFANG~~~" It was rather obvious. Then they had to be shushed up by some people who said "SHHHHHHH!!!!!" Then a video montage of IJ stuff started playing. The stage was still black. My heart was pounding like mad. After about 5mins the vid stopped. Then MC came out.... Introduction to SNCO...lalala.... then the erhu solo by st nicks. Then, finally its the entire orchestra. My heart was racing like 100 times a second(I told that to loads of people). Then we started playing. Fortunately I didn't screw up the sheng solo part at the beginning. And I learnt up my chords(I kept playing them all wrong last time)... My heart calmed down after I went past the parts where I often played wrong. It was FUN!!!!! Then I "HEI-HEI!" until super loud ok. I heard yanyi very clearly. haha. Then I sort of got not enough air to blow the sheng!! LOL. End. Conductor bows towards audience. Claps. Curtains down. Keep instru. Those who dont stay for Finale back school. Back at the changing room, I borrowed Lynn's PSP to play. She showed me how to hijack cars and beat up people in Grand Theft and beat virtual drums in another japanese kawaii game thingy. FUN... INTERESTING.... Karyee gave me a plaster for my blister. thanks karyee!! ARGH I HATE HEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DX Ok... few hours of waiting for the other concerts... lalala... Then the finale part. When all the performers came up to take bows... The first line of performers was none other than st nicks!!!! LOADS of people cheered. Take bow, all smiles, retreat to back of stage. I couldnt see the audience because their seat lights weren't on. So I wasnt afraid at all. HAHA. next, the other other performers came up... Then we all sing the song "One Voice". Amazingly I memorized the song's lyrics.... 0 _ 0 And i chatted with my newfound friend from liuqin, who was formally from ATS like me(i forgot to ask her name!!!). Never did I know that our actions could be seen clearly by the audience of the second storey!!!!!! ARGH~~!!
At the end of it all we went back to the dressing room to collect personal items. Then, we went to meet our parents to go home. I saw Joyce and Denise along the way~~ There was a giant jam at the carpark and it took like i dunno maybe 15mins to get out........
It was FUN people!! SNCO was the best performance of the day!! WE OWN!!! XD
